Pope Benedict apologizes for Jihad remarks


Pope Benedict has issued an apology in which he says he is "deeply sorry" for the angry reaction to his remarks made last week which ignited a hail of protests and condemnations from Muslim communities across the globe. Last week Pope Benedict delivered a speech that included controversial quotes from a medieval Christian text criticizing Islamic jihad. Link to the story below. -TW
