Forbes: Top 400 Wealthiest Americans are all Billionaires

Forbes magazine has reported that for the first time the top 400 wealthiest people in the United States are all billionaires. Over the past year the collective net worth of the wealthiest Americans has increased by $120 billion to $1.25 trillion.

For the thirteenth consecutive year in a row Bill Gates, the founder of Microsoft, has kept his number one position on the Forbes list, with his latest personal wealth assessment topping $53 billion. The youngest listees in the top 400 were Google co-founders Sergey Brin (#12, $14.1 billion) and Larry Page (#13, $14 billion), both 33. Five members of the illustrious Walton family, heirs to the Wal-Mart superstore fortune, were among the top eleven on the list.
